After 18 months of preparation, this 155-million-year old fossil discovered in Dorset, UK has finally been unveiled on display in Dorset County Museum. The gigantic 2.4m-long skull belonged to one of the largest creatures yet discovered to have lived in our seas, a pliosaur of 15-18m in total length that held the position of top predator in the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
